You do not need to have everything figured out before you reach out.
Start with what you are trying to accomplish. A first conversation is for identifying the next useful step, not pressuring you into an application.
Call or text
Good for a quick question or when talking it through feels easier than filling out a form.
info@qualifiedhomemortgage.com
Send a short summary. Do not email Social Security numbers, account numbers, or sensitive documents.
What should I say?
This is enough: “I am thinking about buying a home. I am self-employed. I do not know what price range is comfortable yet.” Use your own version. I’ll ask the follow-up questions.
What helps in the first conversation?
- Your goal: buy, refinance, use equity, or finance an investment.
- The city or county and a rough timeline.
- How your income works: W-2, 1099, business income, rental income, or a mix.
- A rough idea of available cash and monthly debts, if known.
- The question or concern keeping you from moving forward.
You do not need documents for an introductory conversation. If it makes sense to continue, we’ll explain what belongs in the approved secure process.
Ready to send this over instead of calling?
Pick the option closest to your situation and add a line or two if you want — no need to write a full summary. We will reach out to continue the conversation.
What happens after you contact us?
- I’ll start by learning what you hope to do and what questions you have.
- Then we’ll identify which choices may be worth comparing and what information is still needed.
- You decide whether to keep planning, gather paperwork, or begin an application.
The first conversation is for planning. It is not a loan approval, Loan Estimate, or commitment to lend.
Licensed service area
California and Nevada, with a local focus on Reno, Sparks, Carson City, and Northern Nevada. Most conversations and loan steps can be handled by phone and secure digital tools.

Start with the question you have today
I will ask what you hope to do, how you are paid, what you know about the property or budget, and what feels unclear. If it is too early for an application, I will tell you what to work on first.
- No chosen loan is required.
- No sensitive documents by ordinary email or text.
- No pressure to apply during the first conversation.
